Tales For Understanding
Tale 1: Picture a single ruler society in which all diseases and harmful bacteria have been eliminated. All people live peaceably, all mundane tasks are done by robots, people are free to pursue their interests, all necessities are provided freely along with everything comfort. Computer gaming has advanced to the point where a virtual reality can be entered via a headset that sends the program into your brain so that your consciousness is totally cast into the game. Similar to that portrayed in the movie "Total Recall".
Now, in the early stages of the game, the programmers would create the character for the individual from a series of tests so that the character would virtually be the individual player. As in the movie "Avatar".
These two movies give us the means to set up this scenario.
The virtual world is created, the computer generated people and animals set into it, along with all the natural recourses the player will need while in the game.
The game became so popular that the programmers could not keep up with the demand to create the avatars, so they went back into the program and added a means by which the avatars could reproduce other avatars to be filled by other players.
Then another problem arose: The player became so involved with the character( Avatar) that when the avatar died, the player died as well. To prevent this, a programmer went into the game to leave a message to be passed throughout the realm that there was another life after the "character" died. This worked well for the first few descendants of that character and all those that believed the message; however, many players did not believe and the problem continued.
While working out a way around this problem, another one occurred. Some of the players, having finished the game, became distraught when they returned to their reality only to find that the persons they became involved with, fell in love with and married in the game. were in fact computer generated, and would not be found in their real world.
The programmers were stumped. They took these problems to the supreme ruler who then devised a plan to solve both problems. He would go into the game himself, allow his character to die, have the programmers save his character, then return to the game as the same character, in front of witnesses that knew him in the game, then again by multitudes, to prove that life can continue after "Game Over". Also, he had the programmers monitor the non- players so that any who accepted Him as their leader, and the message of life, would be then designated for a "reverse avatar" to be constructed and programmed from the memory system of the computer generated person. The means by which the programmers would know which computer generated person to clone, would be by the act of baptism.
In this parable the Player Avatars represent the Jews, while the computer generated people represent the Gentiles.
Tale 2: Again we start in a perfect society, timeless, eternal, when one day someone asks, "How did all this come to be?". They are then taken to a large planetarium where they are seated comfortably for the show. The lights go out and in the middle of the room their world appears. As the person looks on, he sees a perfect replica of that world emerge from the first. like a cell dividing itself. The two worlds remain side by side but for a split second, when the second world explodes in a flash of light then begins to unroll like a scroll, depicting the linear passing of time as gasses compress stars are born, galaxies form and dance around the room.
Soon two galaxies approach one another so close that their outer fringes entangle, collisions occur. At this moment a new star is born in the smaller galaxy, capturing five planets in its gravity. Still partially molten from the energy of the newborn star, they begin their orbits around her. Then, while still in a molten state the third planet from the newborn star is struck by a moon orbiting a planet in the larger galaxy. The collision splits the molten planet, half of which is shattered and strewn into orbit around the sun, while the other half returns to spherical form. The moon that struck the planet is slowed by the collision and thus captured into the gravity of the sun. Being much larger than the remaining planet, that which once was a moon usurped the path of that which once was the third planet from the sun, now cooling to encircle the new planet as its moon. The galaxies separated.
Life began to form on the new planet. However, having their origins coming from the much larger and heavier galaxy, these forms grew immense in size. The onlooker gazed in amazement as the earth went through its cycles of ages, bringing new and smaller life forms with each new age, until man appeared.
Now it so happened that the planet from which this moon (now the earth) was taken, was also inhabited.
These people kept watch over the ages, being very interested in harvesting the natural recourses the new planet offered. Keeping themselves from interfering with the development of the eco-system, they sent envoys to harvest from the higher altitudes of the planet. Eventually, the cost became more than the rewards, as they were unable to remove their encumbering suits which protected them from the bacteria and harmful rays of the nearby sun, as theirs was a society from which all diseases and harmful bacteria had long hence been removed, leaving them without an immune system, and virtually ageless; and they had to bring their own provisions for most of the places they were working.
Not wanting to abandon the recourses they had grown to rely on, their scientists developed two plants which would produce fruit for them to eat and enable them to work without their encumbering suits. Once planted, they grew into trees, the fruit of one tree renewing the cells damaged by radiation, the fruit of the other causing their bodies to produce the hormones necessary for awakening and enhancing their immune system.
They brought the envoy to a place called Eden, high above the fertile Euphrates valley, and planted a large garden with these two trees in its midst. Now it was that the man on the earth at that time was simply another animal of natural evolution and without conscience. Still, he was a social animal much like the chimpanzee, wolf, horse etc., without conscience for determining ethics or morals, yet capable of learning to live and work together in harmony as a clan.
The extraterrestrial visitors wished to incorporate this creature into assisting them to harvest the desired recourses, but the nature of the man creature would not allow it; so they began to experiment genetically to develop a man from them that could be used. Using their own D.N.A along with that of the man they eventually developed both male and female, only to discover they could not reproduce of themselves,(like two mules are incapable of reproducing another mule). Finally, another female was developed by using the D.N.A. from the created male, and success was achieved.
During this time, some of the extraterrestrials, both males and females, had overindulged in the fruit from the tree that enhanced their immune system, causing their hormone level to increase to the point where they also began to have sexual urges. Some wed and begot children. However, when these children reached adolescence, they underwent a rapid growth spurt, just as the early creatures that had inhabited the earth, because the parents had come from the larger, heavier galaxy. These were the first giants, the Nephilim spoken of in some scriptures, the Titans spoken of in other texts. By the time they figured out this was no accidental occurrence, there were already too many for the recourses, and their appetites matched their size.
They eventually turned to eating human flesh, causing a great concern. The parents of these giants chose to remain behind when the rest of the envoy returned to their home planet, setting themselves up as gods to rule the man creature they had created. While the supreme ruler ordered the annihilation of these giants for the sake of the man creature, the parents of the giants determined to wed daughters of the created man in order to prevent any future children from becoming the same; yet the children of this marriage also became extremely large, but nowhere nearing the size of their half siblings. These were the lesser giants in scripture called Ophelim, and Heroes in other texts to include names such as Hercules, Gilgamesh, and Goliath.
AS the scroll of linear time continued to unroll in the planetarium, the onlooker watched the many wars of man, countries and nations. Finally, as the science of warfare increased, a look of horror crossed the face of the onlooker as greed brought mankind to the brink of destroying the entire eco-system of the earth and gathered in great hoards to engage in nuclear warfare. At this moment in the time of man, the supreme ruler sent yet another envoy to the earth to stop the battle, set up His rule here, bring peace to the nations, and in that time of peace, bring mankind into a new golden age of science and technology.
The onlooker watched on, and when the open scrolled earth once again became an exact duplicate of the world sphere next to it in the planetarium, it began to roll itself back up into a sphere, and the two identical spheres merged back into one.
And that's how it all came to be.
