Chapter 4:
THE WOMAN, the DRAGON and the TWO BEASTS
The Third of Four Overlays Depicting the Last Days
The third overlay begins with a short narrative that shows the devil Lucifer as the true enemy of all who worship the one true God. It has been his plan (Lucifer’s) to lead humankind into annihilation through mutual slaughter, just as the children of the fallen angels (the Nephilim) annihilated each other in the valley now buried under the Persian Gulf. Most of the “plagues” of the Apocalypse could be thwarted if Jews, Christians and Muslims would unite to prevent the One World Order from gaining power, leaving only the natural disasters (earthquakes, volcanoes, hurricanes and tsunamis) to deal with. It then describes The New World Order and its One World Banking system.
The Woman and the Dragon
Now a great sign appeared in heaven: a woman adorned with the sun, standing on the moon, and the twelve stars on her head for a crown. She was pregnant, and in labor, crying aloud in the pangs of childbirth. Then a second sign appeared in the sky, a huge red dragon which had seven heads and ten horns, and each of the seven heads crowned with a coronet. Its tail dragged a third of the stars from the sky and dropped them to the earth, and the dragon stopped in front of the woman as she was having the child, so that he could eat it as soon as it was born from its mother. The woman brought a male child into the world, the son who was to rule all the nations with an iron scepter, and the child was taken straight up to God and to his throne, while the woman escaped into the desert, where God had made a place of safety ready, for her to be looked after in the twelve-hundred and sixty days.
Daniel gives us the keys to unlock the symbolism. The position of the sun, moon and stars adorning the woman establishes the woman as a high priestess. Here she represents both Mary, who gave birth to the Christ child, and the Jewish faith, which gave birth to Christianity. The red dragon is the Devil, Lucifer, also called Satan. The heads are hills, the horns are kings and the coronets indicate governors. Just as the woman represents both the person Mary and the Jewish faith, The dragon represents both Lucifer and the Roman Empire. Rome was built on seven hills (the seven heads), established as a democracy with a Senate of ten seats (ten horns) the seven providences, each with its own leader governing the people, are represented by the coronets. By describing the dragon Lucifer, as Rome, John makes the two synonymous. Here John is showing that Lucifer is the real authority behind Rome persecuting the Jews. Through Herod, he (Lucifer) tries to have the Christ child killed as soon as he is born. The tail dragging a third of the stars from the sky and dropping them to the earth, refers to the fallen angels in the Book of Enoch.
The narrative continues, saying, “And the child was taken straight up to God and to His throne”, referring to the resurrection: “While the woman (Mary) escaped into the desert (Egypt) to be looked after for three and a half years”. This could also refer to the death of Herod, ending the persecution of Jews in Judea.
And now war broke out in heaven, when Michael and his angels attacked the dragon (Satan). The dragon fought back with his angels, but they were defeated and driven out of heaven. The great dragon, the primeval serpent, known as the devil or Satan, who had deceived all the world, was hurled down to earth and his angels were hurled down with him Then I heard a voice shout from heaven, “Victory and power and empire for ever have been won by our God, and all authority for his Christ, now that the persecutor, who accused our brothers day and night before our God, has been brought down. They have triumphed over him by the blood of the Lamb and by the witness of their martyrdom, because even in the face of death they would not cling to life. Let the heavens rejoice and all who lives there: but for you earth and sea, trouble is coming- because the devil has gone down to you in a rage, knowing that his days are numbered.”
As soon as the devil found himself thrown down to the earth, he sprang in pursuit of the woman, the mother of the male child, but she was given a huge pair of eagle’s wings to fly away from the serpent into the desert, to the place where she was to be looked after for a year and twice a year and half a year. So the serpent vomited water from his mouth, like a river, after the woman, to sweep her away in the current ( Muslims sack Jerusalem), but the earth came to her rescue; it opened its mouth and swallowed the river thrown up by the dragon’s jaws (The Crusades). Then the dragon was enraged with the woman and went away to make war on the rest of her children, that is, all who obey God’s commandments and bear witness for Jesus.” (Satan then turns his attention to the Christians)..
By placing this narrative with the narratives regarding the last days, John is showing that Lucifer has set up his authority in Rome where it remains to the end of days.
From this narrative, John jumps 2000 years straight into The End Times and the rise of The New world Order, thus also placing Satan as its true emperor.
The First Beast
Then I saw a beast emerge from the sea (the sea indicates the masses or people); it had seven heads (hills) and ten horns (providences), with a coronet on each of its horns (governors), and its heads were marked with blasphemous titles (meaning they serve a purpose other than what their names imply). I saw the beast was like a leopard (swift and silent), with paws like a bear (powerful) and a mouth like a lion (deadly); the dragon (Lucifer) had handed over to it his own power and his throne and his worldwide authority. I saw that one of its heads seemed to have had a fatal wound (its authority removed) but that this deadly injury had healed (its authority re-instated) and, after that, the whole world marveled and followed the beast. They prostrated themselves in front of the dragon (Satan) because he had given the beast his authority; and they prostrated themselves in front of the beast, saying, “Who can compare with the beast? (referring to both the nation and its leader*) How could anybody defeat him?” For forty-two months the beast was allowed to mouth his boasts and blasphemies against God, against His name, His heavenly tent (the church) and all those who are sheltered there (Christians). It was allowed to make war against the saints and to conquer them, and given power over every race, people, language and nation; and all people of the world will worship it, that is, everybody whose name has not been written down since the foundation of the world in the book of life (those who have not been baptized) of the sacrificial lamb (Jesus). If anyone has ears to hear, let him listen: Captivity for those who are destined for captivity; and the sword for those who are to die by the sword. This is why the saints must have constancy and faith“. (The reason for the letters to the seven churches is to prepare Christians to face the fact that they will be slaughtered).
New York City, built on seven hills, was the first capital of The United States (the first beast), but the capital was moved to Washington D.C.(its authority removed), until it returns to New York.
The United States Government has established an emergency program, which divides the Nation into ten sectors (ten horns), each containing a facility, already built, for the containment of families in the event of pandemic disasters. It remains under control of the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA). Each sector is assigned a Director (ten coronets). During a state of National Emergency, the plan is initiated, and the nation is divided into the ten sectors (providences).Here, it is most likely that the One World government will be made up of ten large nations (heads) of which the United States is one). Its headquarters will be in New York City, either NATO, or the U.N.
Daniel describes four major world powers following the fall of Rome. They were Spain, followed by France, then England, and finally The United States. In describing the last “World Kingdom” before the end of days, Daniel says it had ten kings after which another would rise being different than all the others. Before World War II, The United States was not considered a major World Power. Although President Roosevelt paved the way, it wasn’t until President Eisenhower brought the nation together with the development of the Interstate System, that the U.S. actually became a Super power, and began asserting its influence abroad. Therefore, Eisenhower would be considered the first king predicted by Daniel, followed by Kennedy, Johnson, Nixon, Ford, Carter, Reagan, Bush, Clinton, and Bush Jr., Making ten before Obama, who, being the first black president as well as the first not having been born on the continent, is different than all the rest. Daniel also says about this last “king”, that he will be broken, but neither by hatred nor war, but must remain a little while, indicating a change in the political structure that is here being depicted by John in his description of the beast.
It is no coincidence that President Obama's reign ends in 2012, with the election in November. But the new president does not take office until January of 2013, thus "He must remain a short while".
The “Beast” that John is describing already exists in its infant stage; it will make its appearance in late 2012 and come into maturity by the end of 2014. Just as Lucifer was the real power of Rome, he is now the real power behind The New World Order.
The Second Beast
Then I saw a second beast; it emerged from the ground; it had two horns like a lamb, but made a noise like a dragon. This second beast was servant to the first beast, and extended its authority everywhere, making the world and all its people worship the first beast which had the fatal wound and had been healed And it worked great miracles; even calling down fire from heaven on to the earth while people watched Through the miracles it was allowed to do on behalf of the first beast it was allowed to win over the people of the world and persuade them to put up a statue in honor of the beast that had been wounded by the sword and still lived. It was allowed to breathe life into the statue, so that the statue of the beast was able to speak, and to have anyone who refused to worship the statue of the beast put to death. He compelled everyone-small and great, rich and poor, slave and citizen- to be branded on the right hand or on the forehead, and made it illegal for anyone to buy or sell anything unless he had been branded with the name of the beast or with the number its name.
This second beast (New World Order) emerges from the ground, indicating it emerges from an already existing system. It had two horns, (divisions: judicial or Social, and financial, or Economical) like a lamb (passive), but made a noise like a dragon (it has authority to make decrees). This second beast was servant to the first beast (although separate from it, The New World Order begins under jurisdiction of the United States, acting as a democratic system), and extends its authority everywhere, making the world and all its people worship the first beast. (That is, it will force people to accept the policies of The United States democratic government). And it worked great miracles; even to calling down fire from heaven while people watched (it will use nuclear weapons). Through the miracles it was allowed to do on behalf of the first beast it was allowed to win over the people of the world and persuade them to put up a statue (An imitation of The United States Government System) in honor of the beast that had been wounded by the sword and still lived. The United States is still divided into the ten sectors falling under The Federal Emergency Management Agency. As it remains in a state of National Emergency, the President acts as a temporary dictator, (as happened in Germany, a democracy which became a dictatorship in 1939). After the pandemics, the nation will be divided into the ten sectors under the rule of FEMA. The leaders of the ten sectors then give authority to the New World Order, in which The United nations will be acting as Congress acts in the U.S. Government.. They will then select an individual Chancellor to act as Commander in Chief of the combined military forces of the participating countries, like the President of the U.S. They then give the New World Order authority to pass laws, which force people, either to join the system or to be put to death. They then establish a one-world banking system. The people are then branded with a number on the right hand or forehead in order to conduct financial transactions.
The narrative continues:
There is need for shrewdness here: if anyone is clever enough he may interpret the number of the beast: it is the number of a man, the number 666.
The number of the beast is the numerical system used by the One World Bank. “It is the number of a man” (the number assigned to an individual), the number 666”. {Bar codes are used in commerce today, FDA codes consist of four fields divided by the numeral 6, thus the three sixes. This system will be employed, using a microchip embedded under the skin. It will be used for identification as well as to conduct all financial transactions, including hours of employment. People will accept it willingly, because it will prevent identity theft).
Next in my vision, I saw Mount Zion (outside Jerusalem), and standing on it a Lamb (Jesus) who had with him a hundred and forty-four thousand people, all with his name and his Father’s name written on their foreheads. I heard a sound coming out of the sky like the sound of the ocean or the roar of thunder; it seemed to be the sound of harpists playing their harps. There in front of the throne they were singing a new hymn in the presence of the four animals and the elders, a hymn that could only be learned by the hundred and forty-four thousand who had been redeemed from the world. These are the ones who have kept their virginity and not been defiled with women; they follow the Lamb wherever he goes; they have been redeemed from among men (taken into heaven before the slaughtering begins) to be the first fruits for God and for the Lamb. They never allowed a lie to pass their lips and no fault can be found in them.
Then I saw another angel flying high overhead (out of reach of the Government, probably using the internet), sent to announce the Good News of eternity to all who live on the earth, every nation, race, language and tribe. He was calling, “Fear God and praise him, because the time has come for him to sit in judgment; worship the maker of heaven and earth and sea and every water spring.”
This messenger is warning against the unified religious order of the One World System, as well as attempting to turn people to the One true God.
